More Agriculture Catching Up
Once again I have been more than a week or two with getting a post on here. The holidays got kind of crazy and the work schedule did not help that picture any at all. Anyway, in an effort to get caught up once again I thought I would catch a few topics that have caught my attention once again in a bulleted post or two, given each subject a little bit shorter attention then I would normally give to it. Topics I plan to touch on include composting animal carcasses, horse slaughter – again, raw milk, grain price trends, and fuel costs. I may of course hit something else in there as well, but at least those will get some attention. Continue reading
Compost Pickup
I heard about an interested concept on NPR the other morning. Eco-Movement, a company based New Hampshire is offering a compost pickup service. They price it right and pick up your compostable waste just like the trash service. Awesome! Continue reading
