Relaunch…

NaBloPoMoSo it is November…  Crisp cooler weather, frosts in the morning, great time for even more coffee consumption and taking it just a little bit easy.  Enjoying life a bit more fully.  It is also time the NaBloPoMo occurs.  By combining the two thoughts above I have decided it is the perfect time to relaunch this blog and get it to being an active site again.

I am sure more then a few readers, if there are any, are wondering what the heck is NaBloPoMo?  I am tempted to say something about putting it shortly, but that is the problem with the above – it has been shortened down.  It is short for National Blog Posting Month.  The idea is simple and straightforward.  Post to your blog once a day for an entire month.  The original month was November and it has lived on as the primary one, despite a number of people trying to maintain the process on going basis, counting each month.

Regardless, I have more then enough notes and ideas to write about here for the month of November and probably most of December as well.  Things like the movie Food, gave me several ideas including just how much we have become a consumer society of the processed, identical, tasteless product to the crazy idea that Monsato can patent a seed and proceed to litigation when, through wind spread the DNA shows up in open seed germination.  Of course I am still less then happy with agricultural policy at both the federal and state levels.  And in between, hopefully I am going to get here one of my favorite authors speak, when Wendell Berry addresses the topic of “Building Community through Agriculture.”  I am sure that will lead to at least one, if not multiple other blogs.

So in the meantime, pull you up a chair for the month and join on in with you own thoughts and ideas on what I am spouting off about each day for the next thirty.  I am looking forward to it.
